France Takes U.S. And Israel Off Its Safe Travel List

Approximately two weeks after the EU took several countries, including the U.S., off its safe travel list, France joins several other EU countries in implementing new travel restrictions for U.S. travelers.

Much like every other EU country, France is operating a traffic light system for managing travel restrictions with each country labeled green, orange or red–with vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers from each color group having to follow different travel rules.

Missouri football team anticipates difficulties for upcoming travel | Mizzou Football

Columbia Regional Airport’s construction expansion has led to problems with scheduling charter flights for the MU football team. 

Missouri football coach Eliah Drinkwitz said at a news conference Tuesday the team had “a little bit of a snafu because of the Columbia Airport being under construction right now.”

For Saturday’s game in Lexington, Kentucky, Drinkwitz said half of the team’s travel party will fly out of St. Louis and the other half will fly out of Columbia.

“Potentially none of us can fly back to Columbia, depending on the weather and the weight limit on the plane,” Drinkwitz said.

Bisons travel to Southeastern Oklahoma for second game | Sports

The Harding Bisons will try to improve to 2-0 when they meet 1-0 Southeastern Oklahoma at Paul Laird Field in Durant, Oklahoma, today. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

Harding beat East Central 28-0 in Week 1 while Southeastern beat Arkansas Tech 38-20 in Russellville.

Harding running back Cole Chancey rushed for 102 yards against East Central and surpassed Ouachita Baptist’s Kris Oliver as the GAC’s career rushing leader. Chancey has 3,775 career rushing yards.

Chancey scored three rushing TD vs. East Central to run his career total to 45, tying Park Parish (2012-15) for Harding’s career lead.

Man Utd fans allowed to travel for Champions League game in Bern: the Times

Sept 9 (Reuters) – Manchester United supporters will be able attend their Champions League opener against Young Boys after the Swiss team agreed to a late change of COVID-19 regulations for Tuesday’s game, the Times reported.

Young Boys had declined to allocate away tickets based on local laws that do not recognise Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) pass, saying supporters would only be permitted entry with a Swiss or European Union vaccination certificate.
